Bali has plenty of places to stay. Far fewer worth stopping for.

We’re building a network of farms, projects and small businesses across the island where travellers can park up, spend a night, or spend a day doing something useful.

If you look after a piece of land and want the right kind of visitor on it, we’d like to hear from you.

Who we’re looking for

You don’t need to be a campsite. You need somewhere safe to stop and something worth doing.

Permaculture farms

Working land where guests can lend a hand or just see how it runs.

Reforestation projects

Planting sites where a visitor can leave something behind that grows.

Eco-cafes and warungs

Places doing food well without the waste that usually comes with it.

Refill and recycling stations

Somewhere travellers can top up water and drop off what they’ve carried.

Wellness and retreat spaces

Quiet ground where people can stop moving for a day or two.

Landholders

A field, a clearing, a bit of coast. If it’s safe to park on, it counts.

What it involves

What we ask of you

  • A safe space for travellers, whether that’s overnight parking or a day visit
  • At least one thing guests can take part in: planting, a workshop, a clean-up, however small
  • Honest information about what you offer, so nobody turns up to a surprise

What you get back

  • Listed on our map and sent to every guest who books
  • Visitors who chose this kind of trip on purpose, not passing traffic
  • A way to earn from the land without building anything on it
  • Part of a network of people working the same way across Bali

Tell us about your place

The more you can tell us, the faster we can work out whether it’s a fit. We read every one.

We’ll come back to you by email. If it looks like a match, we’ll arrange a visit before anything goes live.

Go somewhere beautiful. Leave it cleaner than you found it.

That’s the whole idea, and it only works with people who already think that way.
