1. Who we are

These terms cover the rental of a TygerRider camper. Booking with us means you accept them.

2. Who can rent

To rent the camper you need:

• A valid driving licence from your home country
• A valid International Driving Permit (IDP), which is a legal requirement for foreign drivers in Indonesia
• A passport
• A credit card for the security deposit

Renters must be at least 21 years old and have held their licence for at least one year.

Only the named renter and any approved additional drivers may drive the camper.

Needs confirmingAge 21 and the one-year licence rule come from the old site's terms page, which was never finished. Please confirm these are actual policy. Also: how are additional drivers approved and named?

3. Booking and payment

The daily rate is IDR 700,000. The same rate applies regardless of how many nights you book.

A booking is confirmed once payment is received and we have sent you a confirmation email.

4. Security deposit

A refundable security deposit of USD 100 is required before the rental begins. It is held against:

• Damage to the vehicle or equipment
• Missing items
• Fuel not returned full
• Excessive dirtiness

We inspect the camper after your trip and return the deposit in full if everything is in the condition it was provided in. Any deductions are explained and itemised. Deposits are typically returned within 2 days of the rental ending.

Needs checkingIs the deposit the renter's maximum liability, or can costs exceed it if damage is severe? This is the single most important clause to get right.

5. Cancellations and changes

• 30 or more days before pickup — full refund
• 15 to 29 days before — 90% refund
• 7 to 14 days before — 75% refund
• 3 to 6 days before — 50% refund
• Less than 72 hours before, or no-show — no refund

You may change your dates instead of cancelling, subject to availability. Additional charges may apply. Refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days.

6. Pickup and return

Pickup and drop-off run from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, seven days a week. After-hours arrangements are possible with prior notice and may carry an additional charge.

The camper is handed over with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank.

Extensions

Requests to extend a rental must be made in advance and depend on availability.

Late returns

A fee applies for each hour the camper is returned late, capped at the equivalent of one full day's rental.

7. Using the camper

The camper is a compact road vehicle, not an off-road vehicle. Sealed roads and soft trails are fine; gravel and rough tracks require care.

There is no mileage limit. The camper may be used on mainland Bali and on Nusa Penida via the car ferry from Padang Bai.

You agree to:

• Use Pertamax fuel only
• Not drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Not allow anyone to drive who is not authorised under these terms
• Not use the camper for any illegal purpose
• Park responsibly, avoiding temple grounds, private land and driveways

8. Traffic fines and violations

You are responsible for any fines or penalties incurred during your rental. If we have to handle payment of a fine on your behalf, a processing fee may apply.

9. Insurance and liability

TygerRider carries basic insurance covering third-party liability and damage to the vehicle. Optional additional cover is available for a fee.

The renter is liable for damage, theft or loss arising from negligence, misuse, or breach of these terms. A deductible may apply.

If you are involved in an accident, report it to us immediately and cooperate with any insurance claim or investigation.

Before publishing, confirm: what the basic cover actually includes, the deductible amount, what the optional cover adds and what it costs, and whether the renter's liability is capped. This is the clause most likely to cause a dispute, so it is worth having checked by someone qualified in Indonesia.

10. Breakdowns and assistance

We provide 24/7 assistance by WhatsApp during your rental, and work with mechanics across Bali and Nusa Penida. Breakdown support includes phone assistance and recovery to the nearest service location. In most cases, mechanical faults are covered by us.

If you are involved in an accident with another party, contact the local police, take photographs, and contact us immediately.

11. Our right to cancel

12. Governing law
